My mom and little brother are coming to visit. I am very very excited. Well that is all.

Nintendo Revolution

The Nintendo Revolution is going to kick ass. I have not been this excited about a console since N64 came out. Why am I so excited you ask? There are a multiple of reasons. I think this system is going in all the right directions. A key point is that it is projected to be much cheaper then xbox360 and PS3 (if it ever comes out). The fact that I have to spend alot more money on other things like rent and food makes buying this system a possibility. The next thing I like is the controller. It is totally different then from what we are used to. How it works is pretty crazy. The fact it may be able to be used as a sword is sweet. Think of how bad ass Soul Calibur would be if you were actually 'sword' fighting the person. basically any game that uses a sword or hand weapon would be kick ass. Hopefully though you can get a standard controller. That way other games would not be difficult to play. The last thing that has me even more excited is the ability to play NES, SNES, Game Boy, GBA, Virtual Boy, Sega, Genises, and Turbografx-16. All these systems were so bad ass and had the best games ever. You will have to download the games but it would be very awesome if they sold combo disks in the stores as well. Since the average size of those games are under 1 MB they will DL in seconds. Basically I am way way way excited about the Revolution. Now I just have to wait till November....

How you feel? Feeling great! Well ok, crazy weekend. Lots of driving, got to chill with my main man Jimmy and I got to see my lady. It was awesome all the way around. So I think that my mom and brother may be visiting this weekend which would be fuckin awesome. Since I miss them very much. But I would have to clean the apt... haha. Well hopefully I get to see them anyways, Mike the most because he is the man. Things are not looking good for the shoulder and arm I guess. My mom wants me to go to the Doctor and get it checked out so that might be happening soon here. I hope everything is ok. Well this week is going to be hellish. Two hard exams and I have to figure out my schedual. It shall get done. Laundry tonight woohoo! Bye everyone!

little bit of everything

I was going to update this yesterday but blogger was down and I wasn't about to wait the 10 min to make a post! Haha. Well this blog has kinda gotten away from what I intended it to be for. I was going to use it to share cool stories and keep all my friends and family updated on my life up in Houghton. Unfortunately a lot of my freinds don't feel the need to read this. I also realized that nothing overly exciting has been happening in my life. It has been a endless circle of dissapointment. With all that said perhaps I can get the train back on the track.

This weekend was really cool. The Heiruspecs came to Houghton for a show. They also brought the group Kanser with them too. Kanser was prety bad ass. I got two of their cds for 15 bucks and have been rocking them quite a bit. So then Heiruspecs got on the stage and just kicked ass. The crowd was realy good as well. I was getting down to the beat and I was right up front and everyone was just feeling it. Then it was just bitching during the song '5ves' because I got two 'sing' two lines from it. Felix came up and held down the mic and I was just like damn. I did it perfect and it was just bad ass. The whole time they looked like they were having so much fun and loving every minute of the performance. When the show got over I was totally geeked.

I have also been doing a lot of thinking lately. Mostly about my life and what I am doing with it. Am I going to be happy as an engineer? Do I wanna spend 2-3 more years trying to learn the things being taught to me? I was thinking that I just want to find a way to be happy, a job that I can look forward to waking up for. I want a life that I can be happy with, money and possesions mean nothing to me anymore. I can see why my dad doesn't want a big house, all you need is a little place to live and a little land to play on. Just something to make everyday the best day it has been in your life.

The bad news is that I think I really messed up my shoulder. That crash on the rail where I landed on it and my face a week and a half ago was not to good for me. It has been hurting everyday since. I have been living on moltirn for the pain. So hopefully it gets better, if not I will get it checked out when I get home from college for the summer. I am also out of shape so I think a bunch of us are going to start playing basketball a couple of times a week. We shall see how that goes.

Lastly I had an interesting converstation with my friend Kevin the other day. We were discussing the idea of the future. The jist of it was that he thinks that the future is a real thing but I don't. You can't prove that the future is really there. That it will really happen. While so many people are looking towards things in the future they end up missing so many things that are happening in the present. The future is no garuntee, so I say don't look to the future...apreciate the present and the things that are happening around you. I may expand on this later because my own arguement got me thinking a lot.

Snowboarding part three

So I realized I should have been filming stuff a LONG time ago. for that I am sorry. I am going to get a new camera this summer and hopfully make an awesome video this winter. So this first one is me going down the roof behind my apt. It was hard to climb up there. Kinda fun little ride down. It is night out and the video is a bit dark sorry bout that. The second one is me jumping off a dumpster. Basically they closed ripley at 7 so people could actually make it home and because visability was way bad so I had to make due. Sorry the videos look soo bad, if you go to the actually page and make them full screen you can see them better. Boo on myself.

Spring boarding

Well I had a blast boarding Friday. Was wearing a t-shirt which is always fun. Cut my self up a bit but oh well. I did some pretty sweet moves off the jumps and was hitting the rails good even though you can't tell from these videos. I was riding the picnic tables too which was fun. I rode one and did a 180 off which was cool. I hope to get some more shots on Sunday. But enjoy these for now.

Went home

I took a journey back into jackson last weekend and it was alot of fun. ( of us went boarding over in K-zoo on saturday and 6 went on sunday. We had a really good time. We were tearing up the mountain and being all around bad asses. We were deffinately being Wrozek's because we were yelling off the lifts and being kinda obnoxious. I was sad when I left but I will be home again in 7 weeks. I am hoping to get some sweet pics while boarding tomarrow and then post them. We shall have to wait and see though.
